Here we go again, this time in peaceful plan (or almost), to recommend a documentary I saw recently called "The Cove " . I do not want to extend, in a couple of strokes, I can say is about the capture of dolphins in Taiji (Japan), the world of the dolphin and the sale of dolphin meat contaminated.
In the early 50's, the last century, the consumption of this meat had disastrous consequences on the population in another part of Japan where they do similar things to the point that the illness resulting from mercury poisoning was christened Minamata disease, in "honor" to what happened in that place.
The documentary can be taken by the skeptics as an argument environmentalist (not think, I do not think such a thing), but more than anything, is a claim to something that seems far-fetched and objectively all the secrecy that surrounds it.
If I recommend it, especially because I got hit film, thinking "this must be disclosed "and that, moreover, is almost an action movie-style Ocean's Eleven, despite the redundancy.
Oh and a little thing of all: that in some theaters in Japan ... has been censored.
Certainly took a Oscar this year and other awards inches.
